Earth Day is an annual event on April 22nd to demonstrate support for environmental protection. As stewards of a green, public space the Trust are very much aware of environmental issues, so we're presenting this Earth Day event to help encourage positive environmental action!

Community Planting

For this event they're partnering with Invisible Palace to help plant up some of the empty beds in Jubilee Gardens (next to the bus station and the Vicar's Oak).

Join for a fun, social session where they'll sow seeds and plant flowering plants which will develop and grow into the beds over time, to create a more friendly space which we can all be proud of.

This event is suitable for people of all ages and experience levels, all you need to bring is your hands and be ready to get a little muddy.
