Adult Social Care: Delivering Quality Standards of Care

Date: Tuesday 13 September in central London

Wokingham Borough Council has become the first local authority in the country to hand over the reins of adult social care to a limited company.
The Council is handing over control of day centres, the supported employment service, home care, residential care, supported housing services and sensory needs services in the hope that this move will cut costs, allow services to continue effectively and result in services being more accessible to people.
With this type of change at local level soon to be common practice, Inside Government is providing an informative and interactive forum on 'Adult Social Care: Delivering Quality Standards of Care,' taking place on Tuesday 13th September in central London.
The government’s adult social care legislation highlights the need for a partnership approach in delivering good quality care and the importance of personalised care for service users and their carers. The challenge facing the sector is delivering these changes under financial constraints.
Book TODAY and secure a HALF DAY rate for this FULL DAY event by clicking the following link: http://insidegovernment.msgfocus.com or call 0845 666 0664.
