Award winning local charity seeks Therapeutic Garden Worker
Sydenham Garden provides therapeutic gardening and creative activities for people coping with physical or mental health issues in Lewisham and Bromley. Be part of our small, friendly and committed team, improving local people’s gardening skills, confidence and quality of life.
Our ideal Therapeutic Garden Worker has fantastic horticultural knowledge, able to plan gardening activities in our one acre site near Forest Hill, experience delivering services to the community and a proven ability to work with adults with physical or mental health problems. A can-do attitude and experience working well in a small team would be a big advantage.

We are also offering a salary of £24,000, 6% pension contribution and up to 31 days holiday a year. This is a full time post.

Learning Disability Partnership Board Consultant
8 hours per month (to be worked flexibly)
£12 per hour + 5% pension contribution
Bromley Mencap is an independent charity providing services for people with learning disabilities, families and carers in Bromley.
The Learning Disability Partnership Board aims to improve the quality of life for people with learning disabilities and supports the modernisation of services.
The Partnership Board Consultant’s role is to make sure that people with learning disabilities have their say at Learning Disability Partnership Board meetings and that they are listened to.
You need to have a good understanding of inclusion. You will need to be able to communicate with and support people with a range of learning disabilities in large groups and one-to-one. You will be required to work flexibly over the 8 hours and be able to travel independently around the borough
