Community Links Bromley has a dedicated Volunteer Centre. The Centre provides
- A database of volunteering vacancies that is made available to the public
- A directory of volunteering vacancies distributed to libraries, job centres and community centres
- Regular open evenings for members of the public to come along and find out more about volunteering
- The opportunity for organisations to participate in events such as Volunteers Week
- A volunteer placement service for individuals looking for volunteering opportunities
- A Forum for people who recruit, manage or supervise volunteers to get together and discuss their work
- Best practice guidance and development for volunteer co-ordinators
- Support to organisations to develop their volunteering programmes
- Support to organisations undertaking the Investing in Volunteers award
- Representation of volunteers and volunteering matters within the borough.
