About the Volunteer Centre
The Volunteer Centre Bromley is accredited by Volunteering England and is part of a national network of volunteer development agencies.
We carry out six core functions:
- Brokerage - recruiting volunteers and signposting them to appropriate volunteering opportunities
- Marketing volunteering - raising the profile of voluntary activity
- Good practice development - supporting organisations to manage their volunteers in a professional and effective way
- Developing volunteering opportunities - identifying new volunteering opportunities and working with organisations to develop current opportunities
- Policy response and campaigning - responding to local and national government initiatives in relation to volunteering
- Strategic development of volunteering - identifying the future development needs of volunteering at a local level.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday 9.00 am to 5 pm
Appointments for those interested in volunteering can be made between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm. Appointments outside these hours may be available on special request.
