Salary: NJC Scale SO1 spine point 23. £32,076 per annum.  

Contract: The contract is fixed term until September 2025.

Mottingham Big Local Refocused (MBLR) Partnership is delighted to be recruiting a Project Support & Communications Officer.

Mottingham is one of the local areas in England benefiting from £1 million Big Lottery investment. You will play a key role in the delivering of our plan and vision for the Mottingham Big Local area. Working alongside our MBLR Programme Manager, the person appointed will undertake a variety of tasks that include communications, grants administration and providing support to the resident led MBLR Partnership.

Working to implement our communications plan via established communication channels, you will be responsible for managing the partnership’s newsletters, social media and the MBLR website. You will also aid the MBLR Programme Manager with the administration of our Community Grants programme.

The person appointed will have experience of providing committee/Board support including minute taking and agenda distribution.

Hosted by Community Links Bromley, you will report to the local resident led Partnership.

Location: meetings are currently held online, although in the future, meetings will mainly be held at  Bromley Civic Centre. Occasionally, meetings will be held offsite.

Take Home and Settle Assistant  Lewisham - Shift 4 

Salary: Annual retainer fee of £3,502. You will be paid in addition for call outs at £13.15 per hour Mon-Fri and £15.18 per hour Sat/Sun

Hours: Two-week rota

Location: the role will be based across the Lewisham Borough

Take Home & Settle Assistant - BANK STAFF 

Salary: Monday-Friday call outs are paid at the London Living wage of £13.15 per hour and £15.18 per hour at weekends. A small retainer per shift will be paid if a call out is not received. This amounts to £6.50 - £7.00 depending on shift

Hours: this role is to offer holiday and sickness cover only.

Location: around the Bromley, Greenwich, Bexley and Lewisham Borough depending on shift cover

Police Encounter Panels (this is not a paid role)

South Area Police are looking for members of the public to form a panel on each of the three boroughs – Sutton, Bromley and Croydon.  The panels are being created to give communities the opportunity to feedback on policing encounters from their own neighbourhoods, by watching Body Worn video (BWV) footage and offering their views on what went well or what the Met can improve.
