Christopher joined Community Links Bromley (CLB) as Chief Executive in September 2019. He has extensive experience in strategic management having worked as Chief Officer at Basildon, Billericay and Wickford Council for Voluntary Service (BBWCVS) for nine years. Prior to this Christopher worked at senior management level at Citizens Advice, where he worked as Borough Director.

He has diverse experience of developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of customers, stakeholders and partners including local third sector organisations, private businesses and statutory agencies.

Steve joined Community Links Bromley in August 2020 as the Funding and Development Officer to add additional resources to help build the capacity of the borough’s voluntary sector. Steve has worked in the voluntary sector for the past 10 years, most recently as Partnerships and Policy Officer at Community Southwark and prior to that with the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS). Before becoming involved with the voluntary and community sector, Steve had a long and varied career in policy development in central Government.

Mark joined Community Links Bromley as Grassroots Development Officer in October 2025. Following a 10-year career in music and education, Mark moved into the charity sector to work as a project coordinator in community action and environment spaces at both a local and national level. 

With experience in project and volunteer management, communications, and training design and delivery, Mark is passionate about empowering people to drive change from the ground up. A keen volunteer himself, he now focuses on nurturing grassroots groups, forging meaningful connections with individuals and organisations committed to building stronger, resilient and more vibrant communities.

Tal joined Community Links Bromley as Director of Voluntary Sector Engagement and Partnership in November 2022. 

Having worked in a number of strategic and operational roles for 15 years within the Women’s Sector, Tal has vast experience in strategic leadership, partnership development and innovation. Tal has spent the last decade developing and leading cross-sector partnerships, bringing the expertise of the VCSE sector and the voices of the most marginalised, least-heard communities and groups into the heart of strategic processes, influence and shaping meaningful development, partnership and innovation.

Amie Winter-Jackson, Voluntary Sector Collaboration & Partnerships Business Support Officer

Amie joined Community Links Bromley as Voluntary Sector Collaboration & Partnerships Business Support Officer in January 2024. Amie has previously worked in television and digital media, creating engaging content for a diverse range of audiences. She has also volunteered for a number of community projects across the UK and overseas, from education initiatives and telephone befriending, to homeless night shelters and addiction recovery. Amie will provide day to day coordination, project-management, communication and administrative support for the South East London (SEL) VCSE Strategic Alliance. She will also be expanding the digital presence of the Alliance and highlighting the exciting collaborative work happening across the SEL boroughs.

Gavin Maynard, MBLR Programme Manager

Gavin re-joined Community Links Bromley in January 2025 as the as the Mottingham Big Local Refocused (MBLR) Programme Manager. Previously Gavin worked in a support role at MBLR, before moving to Dartford Council as Community Funding Coordinator. His passion for working within the community to support local residents and encourage community cohesion brought back to MBLR. Gavin has a wealth of experience in community engagement, project management, supporting staff and negotiation. He previously spent a significant amount of his career in the private sector, working at a high level in operations management in the transport and catering industry. Gavin also volunteers as a befriending support worker in Bexley, helping vulnerable older residents out of isolation

Seraphim Akrong, MBLR Project Support and Communications Officer

Seraphim joined Community Links Bromley in November 2024, as Mottingham Big Local Refocused Project Support and Communications Officer. She is a legal researcher in the human rights and charity sector in Ghana and in the UK. Prior to joining CLB, she had 5 years of experience working on issues related to education for disabled children and child trafficking and contemporary forms of slavery. She has experience in communications, administration and has been in roles including Programme Co-ordinator, Community Relations Officer, executive Assistant, as well as Editor in Chief of her university’s Law Students Journal. She also has experience in community work through voluntary positions at a community library. She also writes in her free time, and has a range of experience in proofreading and editing both creative and academic work through personal projects.

Alex joined Community Links Bromley as Office Manager in April 2018.  Prior to joining us, Alex worked at Healthwatch Bromley and Lewisham as an Administrative Officer. Before her arrival to the UK from Venezuela, Alex worked at an American International School as an Administrative Assistant for ten years and as an Accounts Clerk at the British Council for seven years. Here at Community Links, Alex manages the office, as well as providing specific support for events, projects and the work of the Trustees. Alex also publishes the weekly e-bulletin and mangages CLB's social media alongside other colleagues.

Kathryn joined Community Links Bromley (CLB) in November 2018 as Research and Project Support Assistant, after having volunteered as an Administrative Assistant at Citizens Advice Lewisham. At CLB, she provided administrative support for various projects, as well as undertaking research and collating reports to support the organisations projects and operations. In August 2019, Kathryn moved into the role of Communications Officer. She now manages CLB's website and digital platforms, as of September 2020.
