Many organisations have expressed an interest in knowing more about social value and how it can help their organisations secure funding to support delivery of their services. Social value can help us tell the story of our impact in a more effective manner and strengthen our ability influence policy makers.

We are pleased to announce the first of a series of workshops to help organisations involved in delivering health and wellbeing services to collectively grow our knowledge and expertise in social value reporting. Our first ‘virtual’ workshop will take place on Tuesday 17th November 10.00am until 11.30am. A senior member of LB Bromley’s procurement team will speak to us on; Understanding Social Value: The commissioner’s perspective.

The speaker will explain Social Value from a procurement perspective and give examples of strong social value statements and how these have helped organisations seeking contracts as well as how this supports the council’s procurement process.
