The COVID-19 pandemic has had a big impact on all of us and brought many challenges to the sector – including the way in which services are delivered, our income, how we engage with our community and how we can support our more vulnerable residents. Day centres have had to close and many services have hastily been switched to online versions. But is this the future? What about those who cannot access the internet? How do we address social isolation and people’s mental wellbeing?

Community Links Bromley will be hosting an online seminar in Partnership with the London Borough of Bromley on Tuesday 15th December from 9.30 – 12.30 to share ideas about how we can modernise and redesign day services for older people and those with learning disabilities in Bromley. The seminar is open both to current providers as well as those who are interested in working in partnership.

If you would like to join us, please click here to register. You will then receive joining instructions and details of the morning. Please come prepared with ideas and practical solutions!

  • What can we do differently - now (during restrictions) and in the future?
  • Can we work better together and if so, how?
  • What can we learn from around the country that works well?
