Join Small Charities Coalition (SCC) for a special workshop to help small organisations understand the DBS

Please join Cathy Taylor, Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, from the Disclosure and Barring service for a special workshop especially for SCC members and other small organisations and not-for-profits. The session will cover:

  • The role of the DBS
  • Benefits of the DBS and your organisation working together
  • Understanding the different levels of DBS checks and when individuals are eligible for them
  • What regulated activity is in both the children and adult’s workforce
  • How DBS checks can form part of safer recruitment practices

This session is suitable for anyone who has responsibility for engaging with DBS processes and legislation within their organisation, including those who decide on levels of checks, carry out recruitment or manage staff in regulated activity or have responsibility for safeguarding or trustees.

There will be an opportunity for Q&A.

This DBS session is a repeat of last month's session, for those unable to make the rescheduled date, and in order to meet demand.
