Bromley Council is celebrating the Platinum Jubilee with a Beacon Lighting event in Crystal Palace Park open to all ages.

Get your free tickets to attend the beacon lighting ceremony in Crystal Palace Park to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, as part of Bromley Council’s planned Jubilee celebrations.

This event forms part of the national Platinum Jubilee celebrations where over 1,500 beacons will be lit throughout the nation, UK Overseas Territories and the Commonwealth capitals in recognition of The Queen’s long and selfless service.

Bring a picnic to celebrate the start of the Jubilee long weekend and enjoy an evening with bugler, bagpiper, choir and young cadets lighting the Bromley beacon.

Getting there

By train: The park is a short walk from Crystal Palace Station or Penge West Station.

By bus: Routes serving the park and its surrounding area include 3, 122, 157, 202, 227, 249, 322, 358, 363, 410, 417, 432, 450.

By car: No parking facilities in the local area. Ticket holders are strongly advised to use alternative means of transport.

 

Please note that there will be no opportunities to purchase food or drink onsite and so please do bring a picnic.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, please ensure they are kept on a lead and you have appropriate materials to clean up after them.
