BBC children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme Briefing event
Tuesday 04 October 2022
10:00 to 11:30
We are delighted to have the Family Fund team presenting on the BBC Children in Need Emergency essentials Programme
It is our pleasure to announce an online information session: How to become a BBC Children in need Emergency Essentials Programme referrer.
Every day, BBC Children in Need’s Emergency Essentials Programme supports children and young people who are facing exceptionally difficult circumstances. Delivered by Family Fund Business Services, the programme provides items that meet a child’s most basic needs such as a bed to sleep in, a cooker to provide a hot meal and other items or services critical to child’s wellbeing.
The programme is looking to grow the network of referrers across Bromley who can regularly access these grants on behalf of the children, young people and families they support.
Gemma Walker, Partnerships Manager and Emma Walton, Referrer Engagement Officer for the Programme will be leading an introductory hour-long session, covering everything you need to know about getting registered and making a successful grant application over the coming months. With the cost of living crisis growing this could be a valuable resource for your charity to access much needed support for your most vulnerable families.
