Greater London Authority (GLA) are excited to share their July community resilience virtual workshop will be with the London Fire Brigade. The workshop will take place on Zoom on Monday 17th July at 2pm and will be co-hosted with the GLA and the London Communities Emergencies Partnership.

Following on from Your London Fire Brigade, which sets out the strategic priorities for the Brigade and the plans to keep London safe over the next six years, each Borough Commander has put together a draft Borough Risk Management Plan. These look at the risks in their borough and set out how LFB will protect the people and places at risk. 

This workshop will provide information on LFB’s risk management planning and community engagement work, before looking specifically at the plans and process for the Borough Risk Management Plans. Attendees will be invited to take part in discussions. LFB will provide key information and contacts for attendees to be involved in this planning and engagement at a local borough level.

GLA hope that this workshop can form an initial step in establishing ongoing relationships between community partners, Borough Resilience Forums and London Fire Brigade.
