Having diabetes involves a lot of management for a child or young person of any age and they will need support from their school in order to help them to manage their condition. The school study days allow staff to gain knowledge about diabetes and have the skills and confidence to support our children and young people with diabetes.

The diabetes training workshop goes along side an online learning, and members of staff are required to complete the online training, before attending face-to-face.

Please do not attend this workshop if a type 1 diabetic pupil with PRUH hospital no longer attends your school/institution.
