11:00 to 12:00

Worried about being a victim of a scam? Want to know how to protect yourself from harm? Find out how to safeguard yourself and how to report any concerns at Kent Association for the Blind's (KAB) Safeguarding Adults meeting on Wednesday 31 January at Bromley Town Church, Ethelbert Road, Bromley BR1 1JA.

KAB will be joined by Bromley Safeguarding Adults Board representatives from 11am until 12pm, who will give you some great advice about keeping safe. You’ll learn about different concerns to look out for and the types of internet and doorstop scams residents are currently facing.

This informative meeting will give you the opportunity to ask questions in a safe environment.

Safeguarding is a term we use to protect the health, wellbeing, and human rights of individuals, which will allow people to live free from harm and neglect. If you have any immediate concerns for yourself or another adult, please call 020 8461 7777 during office hours or call 999 in an emergency.
