Read your own poetry at our event celebrating the role of imagination in all art work. Be part of a group that values creativity.

Local poets have the opportunity to read their work, as always, and there will be music and a brief introduction by Dr Chris O'Shaughnessy. Expect poetry by guest artists such as Erica Steenkamp, Christopher Newland, Mikey Kirkpatrick and others, musical interludes, wine, soft drinks and nibbles and the reading of last year's winning poems from the competition.

This is a fundraising event so the £10 entry fee reflects that. Besides being value for money any income earned from the event will help ensure the survival of Penge Poets by funding future venues and attendant costs. Expect a fun evening celebrating the imagination in literary form.
