Welcome to the Repair Cafe at The Hub! Join Greener and Cleaner on Sat 5th Oct 2024 at 10:30 AM in The Hub, The Glades, Bromley for a fun and eco-friendly event. Bring your broken items and our skilled and experienced volunteers will help you fix them for free! Whether it's a wonky toaster, a wobbly chair or a moth holed jumper, they've got you covered. Let's reduce waste and learn new skills together. See you there!

G&C volunteers will look at small eletronics, if parts are needed, they will let you know where to order your part and when you can come back to have it fitted.

If you have small furniture that needs repair, visit them to see what can be done, it may be a repair to exactly how it was or an upcycle to update your piece.

Do you have a treasured piece of clothing that has a stain or a hole and you are not sure what to do. G&C experienced team can help you.

Do you have a treasured vase or plate that has been broken? their team can use the Japanese art of Kinsugi to repair it (for display purposes only - not for practical use)

Do you have a puncture or problem with your bike? they can advise you. Unfortunately you cannot bring a bike through the Glades into the Hub but they do have a bike ad can demonstrate on and you can bring the wheel of your bike for a puncture repair.

** All repairs are at the discretion of our experts and their decision is final. All repairs will also require you to sign a waiver.

On arrival if there is a queue for the service you require, you will be given a ticket and we will take your phone number. You can wander off to do other things in the Glades and they will call you when they are ready for you.

They will be selling tea, coffee & cakes to cover the costs and provide some crafts to keep the kids occupied.
