Jack is an organist, choral director and singer based in South East London, and has been the organist of All Saints' Orpington since April 2024.

He began his musical education as a chorister at Winchester Cathedral, and was then a music scholar at Winchester College, where he studied the organ with Malcolm Archer. After a year spent as an English and Music teacher in Bogotá, Colombia, he read Music at Trinity College, Cambridge, graduating with a Double First.

While at Trinity, he sang in the world-famous choir under Stephen Layton, touring to Europe, the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia, and releasing five CD albums. While at Cambridge, Jack also co-founded the chamber choir SANSARA, directing the ensemble on their first disc and first international tour, and completing the group’s registration as a charity in 2018. After graduating, Jack was Director of Music at St Andrew’s, Cherry Hinton.

Away from music, Jack has a career in research management and is now Head of Research, Grants and Academic Engagement at The National Archives in Kew. He lives in New Eltham with his wife Charlotte, who is the Director of Music at Blackheath High School, and Moon, their cat.
