Open Meeting - Friends of Bromley Town Parks and Gardens

The Friends of Bromley Town Parks and Gardens will be holding an Open Meeting (incorporating their AGM) on Thursday 19th March, 7.00pm at the Parish Rooms, Bromley Parish Church, Church Road, Bromley, BR2 0EG.
Not only will this be an opportunity to hear from their Chair, Jeff Royce, about the Friends' work in Bromley’s town centre parks over the past year and their hopes for the future, but also an opportunity to hear a talk by Andrea Deri on ‘Wildlife Observation in Bromley: The Importance of Citizen Science in Local and National Level Understanding of Biodiversity Changes.'
Andrea is an independent researcher with an interest in local ecological knowledge who lives in Bromley and works at The British Library. She is a member of the Friends of Bromley Town Parks and Gardens, Bromley Civic Society, the Royal Geographical Society, the Royal Anthropological Institute, the National Biodiversity Network (UK), and several other international professional networks. Andrea has been involved in community-based research over three decades throughout her international career.
