A special community screening: The People's Emergency Briefing – Concerned Citizens of Beckenham

Friday 12 June 2026
19:00 to 21:00

What’s happening with our climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK?

Join this screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing - an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters profoundly for things like:

  • Our food supplies
  • Our energy security
  • Our health
  • Our cost of living
  • Our safety and security
  • Extreme weather

The 48-minute film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The Times) with appearances from celebrities and citizens across the UK.

After the film there will be a short open discussion about what it means for our community and what we can do locally.

We have invited our local MP, Liam Conlon, and are optimistic that he will join with constituents for this important discussion about our future.

Please share details of this event with your family, friends and neighbours: everyone is welcome.

Doors open at 6:30pm.
