The Black Heroes Foundation will bring its flagship  Black Heroes® Soul Food Café to Bromley Little Theatre for the very first time on Tuesday 14th July, celebrating the achievements of Black people who have shaped Bromley, South London and beyond (doors open 6.30pm and the event starts at 7.00pm)

Presented as part of Bromley Little Theatre’s Community & Arts Festival, the evening will combine music, song, storytelling, spoken word, video, open mic, shared memories and community celebration in a seated theatre event that honours local Black history and inspires future generations.

Joyce Fraser OBE, Founder and Chair of Black Heroes Foundation, said: “Black Heroes® Soul Food Café is about bringing people together through inspiring stories, music, culture and conversation. We are delighted to bring the event to Bromley Little Theatre for the first time and to celebrate the remarkable Black Heroes connected to Bromley and South London. As we mark our 10th Anniversary year, we also continue our campaign to secure a Blue Plaque honouring Flip Fraser and his lasting contribution to Black British journalism and cultural history.”  Read the full press release
