Community Links Bromley Conference: Neighbourhoods and Communities

Wednesday 18 November 2026
09:30 to 13:00

Mark your calendars! We're excited to announce that this year’s Community Links Bromley conference will be held on Wednesday 18th November at Bromley United Reformed Church, from 9.30am to 1pm.

This year's conference, focusing on "Neighbourhoods and Communities", is your opportunity to think, learn and connect as charities and community groups with key local decision makers from local government as well as health. This year’s theme, Neighbourhoods and Communities, focuses on the vital role we can all play in building connections and resilience in the places people call home.

Across the morning, we’ll explore how neighbourhood working can move beyond structures and systems to be genuinely rooted in community voice, relationships, and lived experience.

Through exploring and developing different topics, attendees will have the opportunity to share knowledge, learn from others, and leave feeling equipped and inspired to act.

Conference attendees will also have the opportunity to attend two workshops throughout the morning and an opening plenary. Each workshop will be led by experts, who will share their perspectives and experiences, and facilitate group discussion to help you develop your knowledge and ideas.

Throughout the morning, we will be exploring the topics:

  • How to tell your story with data and AI? AI readiness for small VCSE organisations
  • Neighbourhood health: what it means for us as residents and local communities?
  • Civil Society Covenant: The Covenant is a new principles-based arrangement for resetting the relationship between the UK Government and civil society. What will this mean for Bromley?

Plus, more workshops to be announced!

Registration, networking and refreshments open from 9.30am, and the first session will begin at 10:00am. Refreshments will be available throughout the day.

A formal invitation with the full agenda, speakers list, and registration details will available soon.
