The annual Mayor of London Volunteering Awards celebrate those local heroes who freely give their time to their communities and help to make London the best city it can be both for Londoners and visitors to our city.

In these unprecedented times, it is even more important to acknowledge those Londoners who have volunteered on the front line during the COVID-19 crisis bringing vital supplies, support and comfort to the most vulnerable people in our communities. 

There will be no event at City Hall this year and winners will be announced on London.gov website on International Volunteering Day Saturday 5 December.  For the first time, this year the GLA will grant a small amount of funding to the organisation that winner has volunteered with.
