Paper pinned on noticeboard

Bromley & District Talking News, the local weekly talking newspaper for the blind and partially sighted residents of the borough of Bromley, has been produced at its Studio in Bromley North for the last 40 years. Regrettably, the Studio lease is to be terminated later this year which will mean that  accommodation will be required for its Studio if the service is to survive in its present form.

The newspaper is produced by a small local charity, the Bromley and District Talking Newspaper Association. The required accommodation ideally needs to be some 35 to 40 sq. m. in size with access to a toilet area.  Because of security requirements for the equipment needed and to meet GDPR requirements, the accommodation has to be for exclusive use and lockable.  Access is normally required three days every week which includes one late evening session on a Thursday.  Parking for 3 cars is desirable but not essential if there is good public transport nearby.  Rent at a charitable level can be paid every quarter.

Further information can be obtained by emailing the Studio: bdtn@btinternet.com or by telephoning on a Wednesday or Friday morning 020 8290 0085.  All offers of help to find suitable accommodation would be gratefully appreciated.
