Community Links Bromley (CLB), working in partnership with Blueprint for All, launched the National Lottery funded, Bromley and Lewisham Covid-19 Grant Giving Scheme on Wednesday 19th January 2022. The Bromley and Lewisham Covid-19 Grant Giving Scheme secured £237,500 of much needed National Lottery funding for the sector into the two boroughs.

The scheme provided grants of up to £20,000 for local voluntary and community groups to deliver activities specifically aimed to support communities through the COVID19 crisis to further realise equality, diversity and inclusion ambitions in Bromley and Lewisham. In total 17 grants were awarded across the two boroughs and featured a wide range of projects including food banks, older people projects, youth clubs, projects for people with disabilities and those from marginalised communities. Projects are due to be completed by the end of October 2022.

We are featuring some of the great work undertaken by groups here to highlight the positive impact the grants have had. In addition to the grants to deliver much-needed projects, the programme also included a capacity building component delivered by Blueprint for all to help develop skills and build sustainability.
