Penge and Anerley Grassroots Network events

People sitting at tables talkingIn January 2026, CLB hosted the first Penge & Anerley Grassroots Network meet-ups, bringing together 30+ local organisations delivering activities in the area.

Held both in person and online, the meet-ups highlighted a shared belief that working together can boost visibility, sustainability, and volunteering.

Going forward, the network will host quarterly events to raise the profile of local grassroots work, strengthen connections between people and groups, and support peer learning and collaborative problem-solving.

“It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, network. Really energising.”

“I met people from completely different organisations to ours, but found ways we could work together and support each other.”

To find out about future plans for this and other networks, please email Mark at gdo@communitylinksbromley.org.uk
