As the Volunteer Centre for the London Borough of Bromley, Community Links Bromley provides support to volunteer-involving organisations and provides volunteering advice for residents.
- We can support you through offering volunteer management advice and promoting your organisation's volunteer roles via our online volunteer database.
- We deliver bitesize volunteer management workshops/training throughout the year
- We deliver volunteer management forums, where you will have the opportunity to network with other Volunteer Managers, share ideas and best practice.
- We host an annual volunteer awards ceremony to celebrate Bromley's volunteers.
- We host volunteer involvement fairs - a perfect way for organisations to meet potential volunteers.
Could your organisation use an extra pair of hands?
Whether you're planning an event, tackling a long-overdue project, or simply have a task that's been sitting on the "we'll get to it one day" list, local corporate volunteers may be able to help.
Businesses across Bromley are actively looking for meaningful opportunities to support local charities and community groups through one-off volunteering days and team challenges. A few hours of support can make a huge difference, and for many organisations, it can be the boost needed to get a project over the finish line.
Volunteer teams can help with:
- Event support
- Painting and decorating
- Garden makeovers and clear-ups
- Admin blitz days
- DIY and practical projects
- Skills-based workshops and mentoring
- And plenty more — we're always open to creative ideas!
The best opportunities are clear, achievable projects that a team can complete in a day (or even a few hours), leaving a lasting impact for your organisation and the people you support.
If you have a project in mind — big or small — we'd love to hear from you. Get in touch with Carly at vdm@communitylinksbromley.org.uk and we'll do our best to support you to create an attractive request, and match you with a local business team ready to get stuck in.
Let's connect Bromley's businesses with the brilliant work happening in our communities.
We were thrilled to see a fantastic team from One Savings Bank (OSB) Group roll up their sleeves and spend the day volunteering at Leonard Cheshire Care Home, in June 2025; the team made a real impact and brought smiles to residents and staff alike! Check them out below:
